Jacksonville Museum of Sience and History

Today was Smithsonian free museum day (or something like that) so we printed our free tickt and headed downtown! Pretty cool dinosaurs!

We are now the owners of this '95 Toyota Avalon! Yeah! It has air conditioning, leather seats, and even a cd player! We scored! haha I am so excited to be able to go to town whenever I want! And no more begging for rides!!! SO HAPPY :)

As soon as we got back to Newport we hooked up the bike trailer and went for a ride down the boardwalk. SO much fun! The babies loved it too!

NOT a coconut

Yesterday when I got home, something big and round was blocking my driveway. From far away it looked like a big rock or a coconut, but as I got closer, it was

A TURTLE!

He was just chillin' but he was in the way, so I picked his huge shell up and slid him into the pond across the parking lot. I wish you could see how big he was. From tip to tail of just the shell he was about 18 inches. 

Pirate Day

Well in case you didn't know, it was talk like a pirate day today so we celebrated by going to the library where they had a pirate singing songs and telling stories. Scarlett liked it for about 20 minutes, then was bored. Levi on the other hand was entertained the whole time. arrrrrrrrrrrr

This morning I had to fax something so we walked down into town, then went to the park thats right on the beach by the Balboa Pier. Scarlett loved it, and made friends with another little girl named Scarlett!

Yesterday there wasn't anything in the fridge ready for Garrit to take to school for lunch, so I made some ravioli, packed up my straw bag, and headed over to eat with him. As you can tell by the computer being open and ready to work, Garrit doesn't take too long of a break, it's always back to studying hard!

Today we ate all of our meals outside. It was such a beautiful day...like always. This is the gate in our front yard and this is what anybody that walks by gets to look at. We live one house away fom the sand, so there are people walking by al the time. Her and Colt play out here for hours.
